2002 Nissan Frontier Automatic Transmission

2002 Nissan Frontier Automatic Transmission

The Nissan Frontier is a popular SUV. Those who own a Nissan should have a manual to follow along with the repair process. The manual will show you where the various parts are located, including the electrical components and the front and rear internal gear. It will also tell you about warning signs, such as on board diagnostics, two-trip detection, and electrical wiring diagrams. In addition to the manual, you should also have a jack or other hand tool to complete the task.

The transmission is located in the center of the vehicle. The shift lever is on the left side of the dashboard. The front passenger seat is at the bottom of the center console, while the rear passenger seat is at the top. The Nissan Frontier's cabs have a new instrument panel with round gauges. The glove box is bigger and the car also has a foot-operated parking brake. The interior of the cab features a Rockford Fosgate-powered audio system with an in-dash six-CD changer.

The Nissan Frontier is available with two engines: the standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder and the optional 3.3-liter V-6. The regular 3.3-liter V-6 provides 170 horsepower, while the supercharged version makes 231 hp with a four-speed automatic transmission. The Frontier is available with a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission. The supercharged engine is available on Crew Cab Long Bed, S/C Desert Runner, and S/C Crew Cab models.
